Remember that getting an interview slot does NOT guarantee you a leadership position, just as not getting an interview does NOT mean you will not receive a position (We may feel as if you are right for a certain position and thus see no reason for you to be interviewed).

Hi LSDers!

First off, we all really want to thank you for one of the best years Lynbrook Speech and Debate has ever had! With over 230 members (60 more than last year!), we've excelled in every single event we've competed in, accumulating 6 bids to the TOCs, breaking at almost every tournament we attended, and making all of your captains/administration proud!

In order to finally conclude our amazing season, we'll be having an end-of-the-year banquet on Friday, May 25 from 6 to 9 pm. Why should you go? Besides the fact that you absolutely love the team and love devoting every second to LSD, we will be having free catered food, leadership inductions, and time to hang out with your friends on the team!

The banquet will take place in the Community Room at Quinlan Community Center. The address is 10185 North Stelling Road, Cupertino, CA 95014.

Dress is semi-formal, and the theme and catered food will be announced shortly. You can email Event Managers Rohit Muralidharan and Disha Banik at atlpride@gmail.com and disha.banik@gmail.com if you have any suggestions for either.

Be sure to RSVP by commenting below on this thread so that we know you're coming! If you don't RSVP and show up, we won't have enough food and you'll end up being very sad (and hungry).

Hey guys! Even though our speech and debate season is coming to a close, we're already planning ahead for next year, and we're hoping to make it even better than this year was. In order to do that, we're asking for your input on how the team ran this year.

We know that filling out a form is very tedious, so we've decided to offer an incentive. If you fill out our feedback form and come to our end-of-the-year banquet, you will be entered into a RAFFLE for a $15 gift certificate to the store of your choice!

Hey LSDers!

We got a TON of people who didn't order a crewneck telling us that they wanted a one and asking us about extras. Because of this, we're going to be doing a second crewneck order.

Go to http://lynbrooksd.com/tourney-form.php?id=432 to sign up! It will be first-come-first-serve on the sign-ups for receiving our remaining extra crewnecks at the original price. If we receive enough additional signups to order, the rest of the people will be signed up for the new order.

Sign-ups will go until this Sunday, March 11 at 11:59 p.m., and the crewnecks should arrive before the end of March.

Prices will be most likely lower than $20, but more expensive than the first order since it'll be a smaller shipment.

Be sure to sign up if you still want a crewneck!

Hey Speech and Debaters!

As most of the old members know, we keep track of tournament results through a program called the National Forensics League, which gives points based on competing. You can check your points on http://www.nflonline.org/points_application/reports.php and checking for your name. If you don't have tournament points entered, please post on this thread with the

-tournament name
-approximate date
-Win/Loss record
-Any special awards or distinctions you may have received.

The points should all be updated by Thanksgiving Break for this year as well, but for now please limit queries to those points missing from last year. Thanks!
